After my vacation I wasn’t sure which way the sequel to Cut would go. I had an idea and was running with it. And just like Cut I felt like I had lost my way with the story I was telling.
I actually find that I get really inspired while I’m on the metro underground. When I was finishing up with Cut last year I was really bothered by how everyone that rides the metro was really cool about being underground and riding to their destinations. It was odd that here we were traveling and the idea that well at any moment we could be stuck down there whether by nature or man. Trust, this gets to us all the time.
So yes there will be some influences of the LA metro involved with the sequel in some very cool ways.
I’ve been thinking about making a trip to New Orleans in October. It surely is a magical time to visit and I feel like with that visit I can get a lot accomplished.
